Sharjah 24: 36 handball and volleyball players, in Sharjah clubs, concluded their camp in Serbia, organised and supervised by the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), from 14 to 25 August. The camp included 20 handball players and 16 volleyball players, as part of SSC plan to develop players' skills.
The camp included daily exercises, during the morning and evening periods, and joint exercises with teams and players from Serbia, which was an opportunity to interact with European schools in the two games.

The camp also included playing 4 friendly handball matches, whereas Sharjah players won three and lost one match; while the volleyball team won three volleyball matches out of four matches. Two losses and 14 exercises, including five joint exercises with Serbian teams, under the supervision of experts from Serbia, coaches accompanying the mission and the follow-up of Tariq Busnina, a handball specialist at SSC, and Al Walid bin Mohammed Al Mashhoot, volleyball specialist at SSC.

Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Director of the Department of Sports and Development Affairs, said that the camp came to a great degree of importance to start the season at a high level that allows preserving the players’ gains and their previous results, adding that contact with distinguished European players during preparation is the best way to raise the individual and collective level.

Mohammed Al Hussan emphasised that His Excellency Issa Hilal, Chairman of SSC, followed up the camp developments, on a regular basis.

Mohammed Al Hussan praised the players' efforts, enthusiasm, and commitment to the scheduled training; and thanked the coaches for their given advice and guidance throughout the camp.
