Sharjah24: Early on Saturday morning, the Al-Hamriyah Sailing Team embarked on a journey to Oman, all set to take part in the Oman Sailing Championship.
The sailing contingent, known as the "Ennabi" team, comprises five players along with their team coach. This championship is slated to be held from August 19th to August 24th.
Salem Ali Al Khayal, Head of the Individual Sports Committee at Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, commended the team's involvement in the Oman Championship, underscoring its significance in elevating the performance levels of the participating athletes.
Coach Najib Pasha also stressed the importance of their participation, highlighting the opportunity it presents to gauge the performance of the participants and their preparedness for the upcoming season. Notably, this championship follows closely after the team's internal training camp.
The five players who will be competing in the Oman Sailing Championship are Khaled Al Mandous, Mohammed Al Owais, Nasser Al Owais, Saif Al Owais, and Sultan Al Owais.
