Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command has achieved a significant breakthrough by prioritising the creation of an inspiring and supportive workplace that fosters creative and innovative thinking. This accomplishment involves the registration of 27 new intellectual property rights in the first half of this year, underscoring its forward-thinking approach to intellectual property, building on the registration of 152 such rights over the last two years.
Colonel Tariq Al Madfa’, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, shared that the registration of intellectual property rights is divided into three key categories: intellectual classification, industrial design, and innovation patent. These intellectual property assets cover a range of innovative fields, including the registration of smart traffic systems, future research endeavours, security analysis programmes, training resources, and advanced business models.
He emphasised that the strides taken in the realm of intellectual property and the embrace of innovative concepts reflect the firm dedication of the Sharjah Police to nurturing an innovation-oriented culture and refining its security mechanisms, solidifying its status as a trailblazing institution at the intersection of security and technology.
