Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) has opened registration for the 3rd edition of Al Zahia Indoor Run, launching on Sunday at City Centre Al Zahia. This activity is a part of community initiatives to encourage sports as a way of life, organised in partnership with Al Qudra Sports Management, the mall's management, and a number of supporting businesses and institutions.
The sports event includes running for distances: 800 m, 4 km, and 8 km, for male and female categories, and the open category for all ages. Registration takes place via the link (http://www.eevents.ae/zahia) and registration will close two days before the event.
The racing program, which starts at 7 am, will witness the honouring of the first three winners in different categories. Each participant will receive a commemorative medal.
The event comes within the framework of the Sharjah Sports Summer "Our Holiday Is Different", encouraging all the participants to take part in the Run's activities, with urging sports lovers to practice sports as a way of life.
