Al Bustan Suburb Council raises awareness on Hajj rituals

Sharjah 24: Al Bustan Suburb Council, affiliated with the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, organised an awareness meeting, for potential pilgrims, at Al Dhaid headquarters, to discuss health and religious preparations for Hajj (Pilgrimage).

The meeting was attended by Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of Al Bustan Suburb Council, a number of council members, and a group of invitees and residents.

The meeting was presented by the preacher Aref Anas Al Shehhi, from the Department of Islamic Affairs, to raise awareness on the legal aspects of performing the Hajj, and how to perform the rituals.

Dr. Safaa Awad Al Bashir, a physician at Al Dhaid Hospital, tackled the health aspect, whereas she discussed the aspects of physical preparation, ensuring prevention of diseases, in addition to getting the necessary vaccinations.
