His Excellency Dr. Khaled Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City “Shams”, confirmed that participating in international events, especially health events, stems from "Shams" keenness to strengthen its work based on human solidarity, within the framework of social responsibility supporting the pioneering goals, in accordance with the wise leadership approach that supports human fraternity initiatives and forms of community solidarity.
Al Midfa added that Shams employees participation in the humanitarian campaign reflects the human and civilised side of the UAE society stemming from the national vision that put the human being at the forefront of its plans, which enhances the health and safety of society.
Al Midfa stated that blood donation is a humanitarian act that contributes to securing the necessary supply to medical and research centres, saving the lives of those who are in dire need of blood transfusion, according to best international practices.
Al Midfa praised Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Centre efforts, and all medical centers in the UAE, for organising periodic campaigns on blood donation in national and private institutions, which received a great response reflecting sympathy and solidarity, social responsibility and a civilised side.
