Sharjah24: To preserve and promote Emirati heritage (SIH), the Sharjah Institute for Heritage's Khorfakkan branch held " Heritage through Originality and Modernism" on Wednesday in the Sidra Heritage area. According to Khaled Al Shehhi, head of the institute’s branch, a group of students participated in the event with 15 works of art depicting UAE cultural history, bridging the gap between the authentic past and the wonderful present.
He mentioned that the institution regularly holds activities in the Sidra Heritage area. He mentioned that people from all walks of life gather there to celebrate culture, heritage, and creativity.
Al Shehhi further noted that several government agencies wanted to join in the event, which was well-received owing to Khorfakkan children's remarkable skills.
