Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority has responded to a fire in a house in Meazez, after receiving a call at the operations room.
Emergency response teams immediately headed to the location of the incident and provided rescue, evacuation, firefighting and first aid services.
The incident resulted in six casualties, two serious injuries, and five moderate injuries. Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority has extended its condolences to the families of the deceased, God rest their souls, and wish a full recovery to those injured.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway by relevant authorities.
The authorities urge the public to obtain information from official sources and avoid circulating rumours.
