Sharjah 24: His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), announced an increase in the number of passengers in the first quarter of this year by 28%.
The increase in the number of passengers in February was 1,250,000, with a growth of 400,000 compared to the same month last year.
His Excellency confirmed that the authority's participation in the Arabian Travel Market comes under the umbrella of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, and the pavilion witnesses the participation of a number of entities, amid a boom in travel and tourism in the UAE and the region in general.
