Sharjah 24: Nasser Saeed Al Tunaiji, Head of the Safety and Municipal Inspection Department in Al Dhaid Municipality, revealed that Al Dhaid Municipality has organised an inspection campaign for the various shops and warehouses in the city, to ensure that they are free of fireworks, as they pose a threat to the safety of individuals and society.
He confirmed that the municipality, represented by the Safety and Municipal Inspection Department, in cooperation with the Operations Department, has intensified its inspection campaigns on shops and warehouses, to prevent the sale or circulation of fireworks.
He added in statements to "Sharjah 24" that fireworks pose a threat to people's safety, and the municipality is keen to limit their circulation, calling on community members to report the presence of fireworks to the municipality's hotline 993.
