Sharjah 24: With great success, the Sharjah Sports Council concluded the Sharjah Charity Duathlon, held in the University City in the Emirate, on Saturday, April 8.
200 competitors of both sexes participated in the four race categories that included two compound games.
The race achieved its charitable goal by providing good revenues for the “Adopt a Library” initiative in cooperation with the House of Wisdom and the Kalimat Foundation.
The winners honouring event witnessed the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah, His Excellency Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, Member of the Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Marwa Al Aqroubi, Executive Director of the House of Wisdom, and Yasser Omar Al Dokhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department in the Council.
