SRERD holds meeting with administrative supervision companies

Sharjah24: Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) held a productive meeting with the administrative supervision companies of the Owners’ Associations operating in the emirate. The meeting aimed at discussing the obstacles faced by these companies, and working collaboratively to solve the emerging issues in their work, in order to improve the real estate sector in Sharjah, and to move forward towards achieving the goals set according to the department's strategic plan.
His Excellency Counselor Hamid Al-Abbar, Advisor to Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, chaired the meeting, in the presence of Mr. Obaid Abdul Rahman Al Mazloum, Director of the Real Estate Projects Regulatory Department in SRERD, and Mr. Rashid Al-Matroushi, Head of the Owners Associations Registration Department in SRERD, in addition to representatives of the administrative supervision companies for Owners’ Associations in Sharjah.

The meeting started with a welcoming speech by His Excellency Counselor Hamid Al-Abbar, who also stated that the aim of the meeting is to allocate roles among the companies, in order to activate the working plan, and to achieve balance and equality, so that each company takes its right to work within the applicable legal frameworks and legislation in Sharjah.

During the meeting, the company representatives shared a number of administrative, organizational, and legal problems which they usually face during their work. Furthermore, the causes of these problems, and their proposed solutions, were discussed within the laws and legislation in force in Sharjah and the UAE.

His Excellency Counselor Hamid Al-Abbar also confirmed that the department was originally established to preserve the rights of investors and all entities working in the real estate sector, with an aim of identifying the problems and challenges which they face in their work, and providing solutions which preserves the rights of all parties. This department mission also contributes to maintaining the good image of this sector, which is reflected in the distinguished reputation of Sharjah in the region and the world as an attractive and incubating destination for investment. In addition, our goal is to keep providing a safe and stable investment environment, by offering all the necessary attributes and facilities for success and prosperity, achieving profitable returns for investors, and providing protection and security in a way that preserves the rights of owners, tenants, residents, and all workers in the real estate sector in Sharjah.
