Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Municipality (SM) has stated that the city's roadways, squares, and major landmarks have all been decorated. During the holy month of Ramadan, the city of Sharjah placed hundreds of ornamental light fixtures that reflect the Islamic aesthetic of the Emirate.
Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, the Director General of Sharjah Municipality, said that the emirate's roads, squares, bridges, buildings, and landmarks stand out because of how modern they are and how Islamic their architecture is. This is particularly true during the holy month of Ramadan, when it makes it seem more beautiful than ever.
He said that the municipality is keen to decorate the city for national holidays like Ramadan and the two Eids so that the community may celebrate together.
