Sharjah24: Prof. Mashhoor Al Wardat, Director of Academic Affairs at the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Science and Technology (SAASST), reported that the crescent of Ramadan was observed using a telescope and professional cameras, and it was not seen with the naked eye due to its very small size, as the age of the crescent during its sighting was 22 hours.
He confirmed, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that certain types of telescopes are equipped with a professional camera and a direct telescope, for it is important to determine the type of telescope used in observing the crescent.
