Sharjah24: Sharjah Police signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Etihad Rail Company, to form a joint strategic cooperation.

The MOU was signed by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and Mohammed Rashid Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of the Railway Sector at Etihad  Rail.

Based on Federal Law No(8) of 2020 regarding the regulation of railways, and all applicable laws, regulations and rules, the signing is to form cooperation between the two parties in security readiness, ensuring the implementation of security and safety standards for the national railway network and exchanging knowledge and experiences in the security field.

Al Shamsi stressed Sharjah Police's keenness to extend cooperation frameworks with various agencies, and to achieve the best levels of partnership that contribute to advancing sustainable development in the country.
