Sharjah 24: The Government Communication Department (GCD) of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) concluded a specialised training programme in Sharjah Media City (Shams), targeting members of the Government Communication Network from various government departments and institutions in the Emirate.
The programme provided the participants with the foundations of investing in individuals within a team, and discussed methods of spending time efficiently.
The lecturer and trainer in administrative and behavioural skills, Ezzeddin Khaled Ahmed, presented the programme.
The first day, on Wednesday, dealt with building teams, while the second and final day, on Thursday, focused on time management.
The first day of the programme addressed how to achieve great results by optimally utilising the talent of each member of the team. In addition to promoting teamwork mentality by enhancing cooperation among the members of the team.
The second day of the programme focused on the most prominent strategies and tools that help the individual effectively set priorities, and overcome postponing tasks and wasting time.
Huda Al Dah, Manager of the GCD at the SGMB, stated that the training programme represents an important part of the department's strategy in developing a more effective communication system that serves individuals, society, institutions, government departments and the private sector.
She thanked Sharjah Media City (Shams) for the fruitful cooperation in making the training programme a success.
