The celebration included sports and health activities that were attended by ECS's staff and visitors, and included sports exercises and consultations provided by specialised trainers, in addition to medical examinations and health tips.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, ECS, said that the Centre's participation in the National Sports Day follows the directives and vision of the UAE wise leadership in raising awareness of the importance of exercising and the need for turning it into a lifestyle and a daily routine due to its crucial role in maintaining physical and mental health, noting that the National Sports Day represents a societal, cultural and sporting event that reflects the UAE’s civilized and developmental approach and ardent endeavor to enhance the quality of life and achieve the highest rates of happiness and health for society, as well as establishing the values of love and harmony among all society members, which translates of the occasion’s motto 'The UAE Unites Us'. Al-Midfa also highlighted the importance of physical activities as a vital element of healthy lifestyles that are full of activity, productivity, creativity and innovation.
Al Midfa added that they were keen to organise a distinguished and diverse sports day for ECS's employees and visitors with the aim of achieving the widest participation, and giving everyone the opportunity to be take part in this national sporting occasion, which contributes to promoting the values of social responsibility and raising awareness of the importance of sports culture and achieving happiness and well-being, in addition to promoting fraternity, love and harmony in society that representing some of the core values of ECS, which serves as a bridge that links between different nationalities and cultures through its events and exhibitions that bring together many companies, visitors and exhibitors from different countries and cultures and give them the chance to meet, get to know one another and exchange expertise and experiences.
