Sharjah24: Two valuable workshops on cyber photography and video production were presented by notable names Daniel Cheong and Phillip Lee Harvey.
Freelance photographer and former lecturer for Nikon Middle East and Africa, Daniel Cheong held a workshop at Xposure with a focus on his work over the last fifty years, titled "Fifty Years of Photographic Odyssey."
As part of an interview with Sharjah, he discussed his experience in the field and his workshop.
He said that he is attending Xposure not just to exhibit his most recent photography work but also to share the technique he employs to produce cyber photographs.
In addition, he provided some tips such as the recommendation that photographers should always use a tripod to provide the sharpest possible picture.
He also suggests studying the work of other photographers, particularly those who specialise in cityscapes, for ideas.
Phillip Lee Harvey's Xposure 2023 workshop focuses on photography and video production classes, and he hopes to convince attendees there that photographers can and should shoot video.
The topics he will cover include frame rates, composition, editing, and grading. His advice to everyone who's curious is to do it at the proper time of day. When shooting in natural light, the photographer has a wide range of options in terms of lens selection since each lens produces noticeably different results.
He also encouraged photographers to keep shooting until it was dark. And in the direction of their hearts' desires.
Further, he expressed gratitude for the retrospective showing of his work at Xpoxure.
