EAS showcases celestial bodies at Xposure 2023

Sharjah24: The Emirates Astronomical Society (EAS), represented by its member Yusuf Al Qasimi, is participating in "Xposure 23" by showcasing the work of a number of astronomical photographers. The images featured on the platform depict a variety of distant celestial bodies, including the Andromeda galaxy, the Elephant's Trunk Nebula, and the Milky Way.

In an interview with "Sharjah 24," Al Qasimi said that the group's mission is to demystify astronomy, popularise the art of astrophotography, and recruit promising young photographers with the intention of helping them hone their craft and eventually become professionals.

In addition, Al Qasimi said that the association's resources at the "Al Razeen" Observatory will be made accessible to anybody interested in astrophotography via the provision of guidance and the use of the observatory's equipment.
