Sharjah24 – AFO: Sitting in a lotus position, four men weave gold thread through pearls on an organza silk sheet, carefully constructing a wedding dress that will soon wow crowds at Paris Fashion Week (PFW).
Commenting on this, Chetan Desai, director of Creations by Shanagar stated, "I am very excited to work with Julien Fournié. One reason is because he goes limitless. Where creativity is concerned, we can really explore things and give our, you know, translate what he wants exactly into embroidery."
He added, "I like working with Julien (Fournié) because he is another master craftsperson who knows his subject very, very well. And at the same time, he has a lot of fantasy. So he comes up with his own concepts, and I have to recreate those and translate those ideas and concepts into embroidery, so it has been a very challenging experience. And at the same time, it has been very fruitful because some of the ideas he had were out of the box for me, you know."
