Sharjah 24: The Committee of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security Affairs and Public Utilities of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), during a meeting held at the SCC's headquarters in Sharjah, on Monday, reviewed its work for 2023.
The committee was briefed on its work mechanisms and proposals, which took the appropriate decisions regarding them, in addition to following up on various issues of concern to society and affecting issues of interest to citizens.
During its meeting, the committee discussed its business agenda and plans to carry out visits during the coming period, especially during the first quarter of 2023, in addition to reviewing the work performed by the departments to serve the community, as the committee emphasised the continuation of its role, especially with regard to following up on the performance of government departments and their roles in community service.
The meeting also discussed that the committee will continue its efforts in a number of issues related to its work, with the aim of standing on the level, speed and quality of services provided to the community, in light of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
