Sharjah 24: On Thursday, the activities of the Al Batayeh Folk Festival 5 kicked off amidst large participation of public and private agencies.the festival is the main event for Sharjah Shopping Promotions.
Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director of the Economic Relations Department and General Coordinator of Sharjah Shopping Promotions, confirmed that the 5th Al Batayeh Folk Festival is characterised by many new activities and contributions, and focused on family products, especially for residents of Al Batayeh area.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Al Jarwan said that many institutions and government agencies presented awareness campaigns, including the Sharjah Police’s Drug Administration which raised awareness of dangers of the drug scourge on society, especially the new generation.
He pointed out that the aim of shopping campaigns and promotions and popular festivals is to promote all things that benefit UAE society, inviting the public to visit the festival and benefit from the promotions, discounts and prizes, and to be acquainted with the participation of government and private agencies in the festival.
