Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) crowned the winners of the Sharjah International Youth Basketball Championship, which the club organised in cooperation with Jam Academy for Sports Events from 27 to 30 December, 2022 with the participation of 24 teams representing the UAE, India, Jordan, Spain, Serbia, the Philippines, Kenya and Russia. The tournament achieved its goal thanks to the strength of competition and the public presence.
Held in the Sharjah Sports Club hall, the ceremony was attended by several sports officials.
On this occasion, Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council congratulated the winners of the four categories titles, and expressed his happiness at the success of the tournament, both in terms of organisation and technique, and praised the levels of players of both sexes and the strong competition that brought together the teams. He thanked the Jam Academy for its role in organising and supervising, as well as the clubs that hosted the matches, stressing that the support and logistical services provided the tournament with all the ingredients for its success.
