The pavilion saw a large influx of visitors who were keen to learn about the origin and methods of preparing and serving authentic Arabic coffee, which indicates the generosity of Arab hospitality inherited from ancestors.
In this context, Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Al Batayeh Municipal Council, and Abdullah Sultan bin Salouma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Batayeh Municipality, received Tariq Saeed Allay Al Naqbi, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau; Saeed bin Fadel Al Ketbi, Director of Al Wusta TV from Al Dhaid; and Faisal Abdul Hadi, Director of Government Communication and Protocol at Sharjah Media City "Shams".
The guests toured the pavilion and learned about the activities and programmes it offers that promote love for heritage and the homeland and consolidate the popular heritage, especially among the children and youth generation. They also stopped at the heritage corner, which aims to preserve the original Emirati customs and traditions and teach visitors the Emirati virtues.
Visitors to the pavilion praised the societal, heritage and cultural roles of the Al Batayeh Municipal Council and its municipality, by providing educational and creative activities that develop children's skills, hone their talents in drawing and calligraphy, and instill love of reading in them, in addition to recreational activities and the presentation of prizes and competitions.
The Chairman of the Al Batayeh Municipal Council and Director of Al Batayeh Municipality extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to the Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, and the Director of Al Wusta TV from Al Dhaid, for their visit to the pavilion.
