Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired on Tuesday SEC’s meeting, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The meeting discussed a number of topics on its agenda, including developing and updating legal legislation, following up on the performance of government agencies, and reviewing the progress of work in development projects.
As part of the celebrations of the 51st UAE National Day, SEC approved a 50% reduction in traffic violations, with the abolition of traffic points and the seizure of vehicles, for a period of 51 days, starting from December 1, 2022 until January 20, 2023.
The council also approved a project to develop the entrances, exits and service road of Al Madam - Al-Badayer Street, at a cost of 7 million dirhams, and implement more entrances and exits, paths for slowing down, accelerating, and developing side parking to serve all shops and support the tourism and commercial movement in them.
The council reviewed a number of proposals to support the real estate sector with more facilities and develop government services, in a way that provides investors and owners with easy procedures that keep pace with the growth and great demand for the real estate sector.
