Sharjah24 - WAM: On the occasion of Commemoration Day, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, declared that the brave deeds of the UAE's martyrs would live on in the minds of both present and future generations.
In his speech, published in the Nation Shield Magazine marking the annual Commemoration Day on 30th November, Sheikh Mansour stressed that the 30th of November is a glorious day to renew feelings of patriotism and obedience to the UAE’s leadership, affirming the citizen's readiness to protect the country.
ٍSheikh Mansour said, “On this day, we, the children of this land of giving, commemorate the memory of our fathers and brothers, the heroes who sacrificed their precious lives to defend the nation and its sovereignty. We ask Allah Almighty to grant them mercy and protect and ensure serenity for their families, who are receiving the significant support of the nation, headed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."
He added, "On 30th November each year, we renew our pledge of patriotism and obedience to the UAE’s leadership, as we appreciate the sacrifices of the country’s martyrs and highlight the strength and cohesion of the community. The memory of the nation’s martyrs will remain in the minds of future generations, as we affirm our readiness to protect our country.''
“May Allah Almighty grant the nation’s martyrs mercy. We vow to remain loyal to the values they died protecting. May Allah Almighty protect our Armed Forces soldiers and officers. We salute the country’s citizens working in all areas of giving and humanitarian action. May Allah Almighty protect our country and grant us safety and security,” Sheikh Mansour concluded.
