Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah directed, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) to provide AED400 to beneficiaries of Sharjah Social Service Department (SSSD) aid, to be deducted from the consumption bill for SEWA.
Sharjah Ruler provided that 4,500 citizens benefit from the decision as a first payment at the level of the emirate, and to provide 20 million dirhams to rehabilitate their homes with modern technologies that save electricity and water.
This directive was announced by His Excellency Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SEWA, during "Direct Line" programme, presented by Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
