Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasised the significant role played by the university stage in qualifying youth and raising their cultural awareness and creative thinking, which enables them to explore the future, contribute effectively to building the country's cultural renaissance in all fields.
Sheikh Mohammed made the remarks while attending the graduation of the 245 graduates of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Fujairah from various scientific specialities and majors.
Among those who attended the ceremony were Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Free Zone Authority; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation; Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi; Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Adviser to the Ruler of Fujairah; Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Colleges of Technology HCT; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and other officials.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the graduates and their parents on their outstanding academic achievement, urging them to continue their journey of gaining knowledge and exploring the future, as well as involvement in the labour market and their professional life.
He also drew attention to their vital role in building the country's comprehensive development.
The Fujairah Crown Prince affirmed the support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah for the higher education establishments in the emirate, given his belief in their importance in preparing promising youth who would contribute to achieving prosperous future for the UAE.
The Fujairah Crown Prince presented a scarf for parents of the high-ranking graduates in recognition of their support for their sons and daughters.
Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah; a number of officials; members of the administrative and teaching staff, and parents, also attended the honouring ceremony.
