Lieutenant Colonel Omar Muhammad Bughanim, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Sharjah Police, stated that the police received a 999 call at 6:38 pm on November 9, reporting a hit and run case occurred on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
Accordingly, the police began their investigation, tracked down the suspect, and succeeded in arresting him within 48 hours.
The Lieutenant Colonel calls to adhere to the traffic rules and to safely cross roads from the places designated for it, such as bridges and tunnels, and not escape from accident sites, which leads to criminal charges.
