Dr. Al-Tayeb's visit to Bahrain comes in response to the invitation of King Hamad to participate in the “Bahrain Forum For Dialogue: East And West For Human Coexistence,” which started yesterday in Manama.
The King commended the visit of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar to the Kingdom and his participation in the forum and stressed the key role of Al-Azhar Mosque in promoting the Islamic values of moderation, tolerance and coexistence.
Dr. Al-Tayeb expressed thanks and appreciation to the Bahraini King for the gracious welcome and hospitality and for his invitation to participate in the forum.
