This came in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC).
During its meeting, the SEC discussed a number of topics on its agenda related to following up the comprehensive development plans in the Emirate through modern projects, developing government work and providing the best services to citizens and residents of Sharjah.
The SEC reviewed the topic of Sharjah International Airport obtaining the approval of the first level of the Customer Experience Programme from the Airports Council International, where the airport met all the necessary requirements to become one of eight airports in the Middle East to obtain accreditation.
This accreditation is a result of the integrated system according to which Sharjah International Airport operates in order to ensure customer satisfaction and provide additional services of high quality that enhance the distinguished travel experience through the airport.
The SEC commended the efforts made at Sharjah International Airport to develop all services and reach advanced levels in accordance with international standards, and directed to continue developing systems and services.
The SEC was briefed on the response of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey on the recommendations of the Sharjah Consultative Council on discussing the department's policy. This confirms the important and integrated roles between the Sharjah Consultative Council and all departments and bodies in the government of Sharjah in a manner that enhances community participation through the council in decision-making and communicating the needs of the community.
The department's response included working in coordination with the relevant authorities to implement the recommendations, and to continue developing all digital and other services.
The SEC directed to work more effectively in coordination with the Sharjah Consultative Council to put into practice the various recommendations and proposals related to all government entities, which would reflect on the stability of society in all its categories and contribute to the development of government work.
