SEC discussed a number of topics on its agenda on the development of government works in the Emirate of Sharjah and following up other development projects .
SEC reviewed a report on the developments of the integrated sewage system project in Muwailih. The report included the progress of work in the sites where the project works are being implemented, and the report showed the completion of 82% of the sewage network with length of 48 km.
The report also included the completion of the main pumping line connecting the pumping plant and the treatment plant with a length of 10 km, and the completion of 82% of the pumping plant and 52% of the treatment plant .
The report concluded with a number of recommendations directed to the council to study in coordination with the concerned authorities and to ensure the implementation of the remaining works of the project in a way that does not affect the owners of buildings, residents and economic activities in the region.
SEC discussed a number of the Sharjah Petroleum Council’s proposals on developing the legislative structure of the energy sector and enhancing the safety of the infrastructure of petroleum facilities and gas lines.
