The AQU Communication Faculty is involved in IGCF

The move came as part of  Al Qasimia University's (AQU) initiatives to improve cooperation and community partnership. 

The students took part in a wide range of events, workshops, media initiatives, Arab Press Sessions, and content industries.

As part of the "Researchers" platform, Prof. Hisham Mohamed Abbas Zakaria, Dean of Communication Faculty, and Dr. Bassam Al-Makawi, Head of Mass Communication Department, presented a research paper called "Modern Trends in Media Practice for those in Charge of Government Communication."

Amin Lenovich and Khaled Makki's "Ahlam" project, an AI application to aid people with sleep disorders, got the Future Challenge Award in the area of outstanding innovation in government communication. During the Sharjah Government Communication Award Ceremony, they were presented with the award by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council.
