Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, attended Thursday morning at the Sharjah Safari, a workshop titled Metaverse Media.

The workshop, which was organised by the Sharjah Media Council, in implementation of the directives of its chairman to develop media tools, discussed various aspects of the modern virtual sector, which includes many fields, the most important of which is media, which is one of the largest and most influential fields in various walks of life, and the great impact of virtual reality and creation a quantum leap in communication, business among others.

The workshop highlighted the most important advantages of the world of Metaverse in the media, such as providing opportunities for marketers and companies, enabling education and distance learning, developing technological applications, providing new job opportunities among others.

The workshop also dealt with the effects of Metaverse on the fields of advertising, marketing and content industry, in addition to introducing many Arab and international experiences in the world of Metaverse.

The workshop included a number of practical applications to experience the world of Metaverse in the media through a simulation model of a TV programme via Metaverse.
