Sharjah 24: Mohammed bin Rashid directs the promotion of 6802 police, state security, civil defence, residency, and foreign affairs personnel in Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, has promoted 6,802 senior officers, non-commissioned officers, and other people from the Dubai Police Force, the State Security Service in Dubai, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners' Affairs in Dubai, and the General Directorate of Civil Defence in Dubai. He did this because of the emirate's security efforts and successes.
Some members of the State Security Service in Dubai were also given promotions. These included 4141 members of the Dubai Police Force, 323 members of the Directorate General of Civil Protection, and (1,458) employees of the Directorate General for Residence and Foreign Affairs.
On this occasion, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the valuable honour and appreciation it conveys to His Highness to the security men and their efforts to serve the nation. His Excellency said that this award is a great way to encourage everyone to keep working to strengthen the security pillars and make sure that everyone in Dubai and the UAE is as safe as possible, as well as to increase their successes and achievements in many areas.
His Excellency underscored the UAE's elevated status under His Highness' leadership. May God protect the President of the State, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness's directives. Efforts to keep the country's skills and successes while continuing to invest in the national framework and give it all the tools it needs to do its security jobs as well as possible and follow the highest standards, which give everyone in society the highest level of security and safety at all times and in all situations. His Excellency Dhahi Khalfan congratulated and wished success to commanders, senior officers, non-commissioned officers, and individuals from the Dubai Police Force, State Security in Dubai, the Directorate General of Residence and Foreign Affairs in Dubai, and the Directorate General of Civil Defence in Dubai who were involved in the promotion decisions.
