During the meeting, the two parties reviewed cooperation and discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Turkmenistan and ways to strengthen it in various fields, particularly in trade.
The meeting also touched on holding a meeting of the UAE-Turkmenistan Business Council in the UAE, in addition to exploring investment opportunities for Emirati business professionals in Turkmenistan.
Al Hameli also met with Gül Shad Mamedova, Speaker of the Lower Chamber of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, and discussed ways to develop the distinguished relations between the UAE and Turkmenistan.
They underscored the importance of the work of the Parliamentary Friendship Group between the UAE and Turkmenistan and the critical role it plays in coordination on common issues of interest in international fora.
