OIC, Palestine discuss Israeli escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque

In a statement Monday, the OIC affirmed that during a phone call, the Secretary-General stressed the organisation's position with the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights in the city of Jerusalem.

For his part, the Palestinian Foreign Minister briefed the Secretary-General on the seriousness of the situation because of the escalation of violations and daily incursions by extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli forces on Al-Aqsa Mosque and worshipers.
