Aisha Ghabish, Director of Events and Activities Department at the Sharjah Heritage Institute (SHI), stated exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, that the Ramadan Cultural Council highlights the importance of heritage areas in the Heart of Sharjah. It includes several lectures, “Al Kitbis’ market,” and the participation of productive families and business owners. Furthermore, there are community markets from Morocco, Yemen, Iraq, and Egypt and several government agencies, such as the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, Sharjah Social Services Department, and Sharjah Volunteer Center. In addition, there is a playground for children, entertainment programmes, lectures, and workshops.
