Sharjah24 – WAM: Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, President of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, approved the foundation’s 2022 budget totalling AED50 million.
Sheikh Ammar approved the foundation’s budget while chairing the meeting of the foundation’s board, which discussed the items listed on its agenda.
At the start of the meeting, which took place in the Ajman Ruler’s Court, Sheikh Ammar welcomed the board’s members and commended the foundation’s efforts and keenness to support vulnerable citizen families and people of determination, as well provide them with decent lives.
He then stressed the importance of launching social services projects, which will benefit targeted categories and promote social partnerships between relevant charity organisations and authorities.
Sheikh Ammar also approved a local aid policy and the foundation’s strategic plan for 2022-2025.
The board’s members were briefed about key plans and programmes and the progress of projects carried out by the foundation. They also learnt that the aid provided by the foundation in 2021 was valued at AED44 million, covering four major sectors, which are social, religious, community and education.
