Sharjah24: It was a day of celebration today for the Holy Qur'an Academy in Sharjah, which opened its doors to students from every country in South America. Among those in attendance was the academy's Secretary-General, Sherzad Abdurrahman Taher, as well as a number of scholars, professors, and sheikhs.
As the academy's operations and services presently reach 155 nations, Sherzad believes that the academy has made consistent progress in serving the Holy Quran and its sciences in a short period of time.

He said that without the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, these feats would not have been possible. Sherzad also lauded the efforts of the International Relations Department of the academy, its scholars and professors, and their work.

Aisha Al-Ansari, the Head of the International Relations Department, expressed her joy at the academy's ability to serve all South American countries, referring to the corresponding efforts to support the rest of the Asian continent.

His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as the academy's administrators and faculty members, she claimed, deserve all the praise and thanks in the world.

She acknowledged His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as the efforts of those in charge of the academy and the academy's scholars and professors.
