Sharjah 24: The second edition of the Sharjah Classic Car Festival, organised by the Sharjah Classic Car Club in collaboration with the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), concluded yesterday with a tour of the city's most prominent tourist and entertainment destinations.
The festival provided a wonderful opportunity for vintage car lovers to meet and exchange experiences, with classic automobiles dating all the way back to the early twentieth century on display.
According to Sharjah Old Cars Club Chairman, Dr Ali Ahmad Abu Al Zoud, the event offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see vintage and exceptionally rare cars that are pieces of art.
Many Sharjah Classic Car Club members and members of other Gulf clubs attended the festival, which drew thousands of spectators.
