Matouk: 4 major exhibitions at Sharjah Heritage Days

Sharjah24: The 19th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days, organized by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, will host 4 major exhibitions, which will receive the public during the days that continue until March 28.
Thikrayat Matoug, Chairperson of the Exhibitions Committee of the SHD19, explained that the leading exhibition of this edition is "50 Years of Sultan's Reign", which relies on technology to depict 50 years in Sharjah’s journey under the rule of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi , Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and all the achievements made during these years.

Matouk added, in her exclusive statements to "Sharjah24", that the second exhibition is "Hanji Encapsulated" by the Korean artist Amy Lee, where she brings the leaves of the hanji tree from Korea and processes them to make clothes and dolls, noting that the exhibition is unique because it contains many interesting products are made of leaves.

She explained that the exhibition committee hosts "Handcrafts from Lithuania" with artists, musicians and dancers, in addition to an exhibition of craftsmen who make crafts on the spot; and finally the exhibition "The Six Pillars of Heritage", which is a gesture of loyalty to six of our colleagues who work in the field of heritage and then left us to display some of their achievements to the public
