During the meeting
Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the American University of Sharjah (AUS), met, on Wednesday, Dr. Susan Mumm, Chancellor of the AUS, and a number of administrative officials, in His Highness’s office at the university.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah welcomed the attendees, praising the great efforts of the administration and the distinguished scientific position the university has achieved.

His Highness stressed the continuation of work, development of efforts and the completion of all projects to develop the university in all academic and scientific fields as well as its facilities, including public services to all aspects of the educational process.
The meeting dealt with the various plans that the AUS is working on to develop the various facilities. In addition to upgrading, the various services provided to students in all faculties, and members of the teaching and administrative staff, in a way that contributes to achieving the university’s goals. Such efforts fall into providing the best and distinguished higher education, highlighting the position of the university at the regional and global levels that was reached over the past few years.
The meeting also discussed a number of administrative decisions and plans that are being carried out, and the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to quickly implement them. This comes in line with the great development that the university is working on to expand its scientific positions that target the capabilities of university students and enhance scientific research and innovation, which contributes to raising the levels of graduates in various applied and scientific fields.
