Mexico president defends energy reforms

Sharjah24 – AFP: Ahead of a private meeting with US special envoy for climate John Kerry, Mexican President Andres Manuel Obrador says the reforms on the electric industry are needed to prevent soaring power prices and to tackle corruption.
Commenting on this, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador , president of Mexico stated, "They know well what our position is and they have been informed that a group of people used the banner of clean energy to do dirty business."
