Sharjah24 – AFP: Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador confirms the first case of the Omicron variant in the country, of a man who had been in South Africa, and asks citizens not to be alarmed and to continue to rely on vaccines.
Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, President of Mexico said, "Apparently there is a Mexican who was in South Africa and is admitted to a private hospital with symptoms of Covid, they did the test, and apparently it is already this new variant."
He added, "It has already become clear that the vaccine does protect against all variants. So there should be no concern. Much less sensationalism."
