Sharjah 24: On the opening day of the sixth Xposure International Photography Festival in Sharjah, “Sharjah 24” spoke to a number of photographers who expressed their joy at being able to participate in such an important international event and introduced themselves to the audience.
Danish mammal researcher, Mogens Trolle expressed his delight at being a guest photographer at the Xposure event, stressing its significance. He also discussed his new exhibition, Eye Contact, which explores our closest living cousins, the primates, and his fascination with their facial expressions and personalities, which demonstrate how little we differ from them.

Aaron Gekoski, an award-winning wildlife photographer and filmmaker, stated, "It is a huge privilege to be among the greatest photographers this year exhibiting wildlife crisis and all issues related to exotic pet trade, legal wildlife trades, over exploitation of oceans, and cannibal theory subjects."

As a National Geographic contributing photographer, Jasper Doest has expressed his gratitude to Sharjah and the organising institution for their support of his show, which focuses on a flamingo that fell into the Hilton Carousel in the Southern Caribbean.
