Sharjah24 - WAM: The UAE Public Prosecution (PP) explained today, through a post on its social media accounts, the penalties for the concealment of evidence of the crime with the intent to mislead the judiciary or the investigation authority.
According to Article 315 of the Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021, in passing the Crimes and Penalties Law, "whoever changes the status of persons, locations, or things, or conceals the evidences of a crime or knowingly gives false information about the same, for the purpose of misleading the Court or the authority of investigation or the collection of evidences" shall be sentenced to imprisonment.
