Sharjah 24 – AFP: Authorities in Burkina Faso declared an overnight curfew from 8:00 pm (2000 GMT) in an announcement broadcast Sunday on state television, hours after soldiers in several barracks mutinied.
Some soldiers were calling for more resources to fight the Islamist extremists attacking the country and for senior officers to be sacked, and gunfire was reported Sunday morning at several army bases.
