Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed ways to enhance UAE-Canada relations in a phone call with François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry of Canada.
The sides discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between their countries in the fields of technology, innovation, science and industry.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that the strong relations that the UAE and Canada share and the ongoing efforts to boost them and expand their cooperation in all fields, to serve the interests of their peoples and drive their efforts towards establishing sustainable knowledge-based economies.
For his part, the Canadian minister commended the profound relations between the two countries.
He also extended his deepest condolences over the victims of the Houthi militia's terrorist attack on civil facilities in the UAE, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
