Bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi praised the great support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for supporting various heritage and sports events, especially the camel racing.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi said that the 11th edition of the festival includes many heritage activities, with the aim of reviving the local heritage, and introducing the UAE people to the legacy of their fathers and grandfathers.
He pointed out that the races saw great competitions in various runs, and included different categories, in addition to the camel competition.
Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi stressed that the festival is receiving great attention from the wise leadership, and that Sharjah Camel Racing Club has provided all possibilities for the success of this great event held in the city of Al Dhaid.
